well,2day im gona blog abt vege juice which erm..gud 4 ur health lar >.<
--Here is a short list of vege juices wif da maladies they're gud for:--
- Asparagus --> kidneys, blood purifier, bowel health, soothes nervous system. (Note: urine'll turn dark n hav a diff odour. itupun when u drink alot lar. anyway,its normal n harmless =)
- Beet greens --> gall bladder, liver, osteoporosis
- Beets --> blood n liver cleanser, menstrual problems, flushes kidney n bladder, GOOD for low blood pressure. (Note: NEVER drink it straight!!)
- Cabbage --> ulcers n it curbs alcohol cravings. (Note: dun store cabbage juice bcoz tis Vitamin U content can b quickyly lost)
- Carrots --> eyes, liver problems, high cholesterol, protects skin fr UV rays, arthritis, osteoporosis n low blood pressure.
- Cauliflower --> breast cancer
- Comfrey --> intestines, hypertension, osteoporosis
- Cucumber --> diabetes, tendonitis, skin n muscle tone, complexion problem, poor nail growh (aww...XD)
- Garlic --> allergies, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, high fats, diabetes, immune booster, anticarcinogen, antibacterial, antifungal, rids body of toxins through skin, low blood pressure. Looks lyk garlic juice rules.haha
- Ginger root --> circulation, motion sickness, nausea, clears mucous in throat
- greens (Collard, Mustard, Turnip, Kale, Parsley, Spinach) --> cardiovascular disease, skin, digestive problems, obesity, breath.
- Lettuce --> prevent lung cancer, hair n nail strength, skin problems
- Onion --> normalizes nervous system for sympathetic dominance, stimulates beneficial bacteria, breaks up mucous, low blood pressure. (Note: if u juice onions, put them in the juicer FIRST then other vege so the odour wont stay on the juicer parts)
- Parsley --> kidneys, arthritis, osteoporosis (has lotsa natural calcium), one of the most nutritious foods in world, increase oxygenation of blood, bad breath, vision problems, thyroid disease, obesity
- Potatoes --> intestines, ulcer
- Radish --> liver, high cholesterol, obesity, clears excess mucous, soothes sore throats
- Spinach --> anemia, regenarates damaged intestinal tracts, constipation, circulation prob, cleans liver n glands
- Sprouts --> baldness, morning sickness
- Sweet potatoes --> any kind of skin problems
